ELF (Eyes,Lip,Face) Brush Review!

So yes anyone interested in makeup?

Just a little review on the ELF (EyesLipsFace) Brushes If You’re Interested :)!

The ones that i have bought were all in the STUDIO RANGE and are all HQ and £3.50 each.

I will list them and write a little bit about them below. Hope you enjoy reading this and i can be of help to some of you and that you maybe even pass this on.

Thankyou. xo.

Stipple Brush - A soft brush designed to apply foundation that gives a flawless soft coverage as if the skin has almost been airbrushed. This brush was a miracle the first time i used it but then after the first wash it seemed to lose what density it had and became a little flimsy, this means i no longer use it for foundation and now use it for blush and bronzer because it is really just to flimsy and has no density to be able to blot on foundation nice and evenly onto the skin.

Overall Rating - 6/10

Powder Brush - This is a beautiful brush! The density of this brush is just amazing,   and with it being so dense it just applies foundation so beautifully and such a great coverage, of course depending on the chosen foundation of the owner. Personally this is one of my favourite ever brushes. So many people on youtube and even my best friend use it for foundation instead of powder and said it was amazing, they were right! I think myself that this brush is too dense for applying powder, especially loose powder as it is a flat top brush with good density to it and would just drag foundation off the skin and ruin the whole face. This is a must have brush! One down side is that apparently it can be tricky to clean, i shall soon find this out!

Overall Rating - 9/10

Blush Brush - This brush is so soft and lush, i firstly used this brush for applying my HD Powder also by ELF from their studio range, the brush applied the powder rather well but it wasnt a broad/wide brush meaning that i could not apply powder in a bigger circumference over my face and so i applied too much powder which made me look ashy, HOWEVER this blush brush perfect for blush becuase it picks up a nice amount of chosen product and applies so easily, also i think it gives the right pigmentation of product with just one or two strokes in the product, then onto the face (cheek bones/contouring)

Overall Rating - 7/10

Concealer Brush - Well to be honest, i dont think im much of a fan of this brush, well not yet anyways, only used it a few times since i got it and i dont know, it just seemed to get clumpy, then split a little like ratty eyelashes clumped in mascara would. Maybe it was just the concealer i was using? Im not to sure but at the moment im not a big fan of this brush and will have to get use to it some more,  maybe i just have to find the right concealer product for it?

Overall Rating - 3/10

Complexion Brush - Wow i love how soft this brush is! I think this might have to be another fave of mine! This is more of a powder brush then the actual powder brush i would say, you can use this multi purpose brush for powders, blusher, bronzers and maybe even mineral makeup or a foundation/powder.

It does have a wider area/circumference so i use this to apply my HD Powder and just the right amount without looking too ashy! It isnt dense like the powder brush so this means you can just sweep on powder without worry that it will ruin your foundation underneath.

Overall Rating - 8/10

Angled Foundation Brush - I’m not really a fan of foundation brushes because they can make foundation so patchy and streaky so i have no idea why i brought this! However i havent really used this properly with a foundation yet as i like heavier coverage at the moment due to my acne scars therefore i use the powder brush. I will however use this brush at some point and give a better review. The brush isnt to big or too small for a foundation brush, in my opinion it looks just the right size and because it is angled it can get into awkward corners of the face without struggle.

Overall Rating - 5/10.

Angled Eyeliner Brush - This is a rather swish brush, it is a pretty neat brush to be honest, the tip is so fine and soft which when i first recieved it through the post i thought “Wow this is going to be a Tricky B*****d to use* I WAS WRONG!

this brush is perfect at applying gel liner directly to the lash line without messy untidy lines or heavy thick ones where you go wrong and try to cover it up. The only down side to this brush is that i have to apply two/three coats of gel liner to stop it fading off as quick, but the plus side is, it makes eyes look stunning and lashes more enhanced!

Overall Rating - 7/10
